Country life. Southern girl. A love for people. And good food! As it is with most new businesses, this one started from simple life experiences.
But the entrepreneur behind these homemade pies is not your typical small business owner. Alyssa Stephens, the “Belle” behind Country Belle Pies, started this mobile kitchen in the spring of 2016 at the young age of just 17. A true born-and-raised country girl from the South, Alyssa loves small town life and the relationships with people that stem from that. So when brainstorming business ideas, she knew it needed to center around serving her community. And what better way to draw people together than with good food?
So naturally, Country Belle Pies was started as a way for Alyssa to not only put her entrepreneurial gifts to good use, but as a way to tie communities closer. Even with such small things as fried pies.
After a little over a year of taste testing in the kitchen, she jumped in with both feet and opened the little vintage trailer that serves fresh, hot pies.
Already since its opening, Country Belle has grown faster and bigger than ever expected making it necessary to have full time help keeping up with everyday orders as well as special events.
Alyssa is a homeschooled senior, living with her family on a cattle ranch in Northeast Texas. When she’s not making pies, she loves spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, and being involved in her church.
Country Belle Pies specializes in making pies of all kinds, and each one is homemade from scratch and handmade the old fashioned way in a vintage 1968 trailer that was remodeled into a mobile kitchen.
